On a beautiful, windy, and chilly fall day in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Katie + Tim decided on forever…

Katie and her girls spent the morning getting all dressed up at the Campus Inn in downtown Ann Arbor, telling sweet stories, getting their makeup and hair done by the lovely crew at Posh Studios, and then, of course, slipping Katie into her beautiful lace gown (which she found at The Gown Shop of Ann Arbor)… However, to her surprise, before she was able to get into her gown, her groom-to-be had each bridesmaid hand deliver a rose with a card… each card had one of the many reasons he loves her and why he’s thankful for her; it was a beautiful, tear filled, intimate moment that was such a surprise, and something Katie will never forget… Meanwhile, the boys threw on their tuxes and got ready for the day ahead!
The bridal party then headed to the absolutely stunning St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, and had a lovely traditional ceremony. Following that, the couple shared a cute kiss, and had a fun ribbon wand exit, which at the end of Katie was surprised once again, because her groom had had a friend bring their pooch just to say hello before the whole gang took off on the trolley for photos at the University of Michigan. I mean, who doesn’t love a wedding day dog surprise?!
After a quick trolley trip around town (thanks to Golden Limousine), the couple arrived at Barton Hills Country Club which was beautifull decorated with unique blue and green chair covers, tall centerpieces filled with bells of ireland, and green and white floral on every table thanks to the wonderful crew at Two Foot Creative and the lovely florists at Bill Hamilton Designs. The couple devoured a set of three cakes by Sweet Heather Anne, and all the guests were blown away by the groomsmen cake designed to look like a Pirate’s Baseball Cap! After heartwarming speeches and a delicious dinner the couple danced the night away to the sounds of The Bluewater Kings with all of their loved ones…
