Angela + Matthew brought us all the way to Benton Harbor to capture their stunning Sundance Studios wedding, and we are so happy they did.
Lets find out a little more about how these two came to be (from their questionnaire):
“Our story begins in the fall of 2011. We met through a mutual friend, and had instant chemistry that we could not deny. We went on our first date to Comedy Sports in Chicago. We had a great time laughing throughout the night and followed it by a walk to one of our favorite ice cream shops, Bobtail Ice Cream. Date after date our love continued to grow and we made our relationship official January, 2012. Throughout the years we had some great life adventures both getting our masters, new jobs, many moves, and making some time for some fun trips to Ireland and the Caribbean. On January 1, 2017 Matt had the biggest surprise, a proposal! It was a perfect night, just the two of us celebrating the new year and our 5 year anniversary. We watched the Navy Pier fireworks from our apartment and once the fireworks ended Matt got down on one knee! Of course the answer was YES!
These two had an eventful day. It started with all of their favorite friends and family at the hotel getting ready. Angela and her friends got pampered by Style on Site in the morning before she slipped into her gown from Davids Bridal (which, by the way, looked perfect next to her bridesmaids in their BHLDN dresses). Across the way, Matthew and his groomsmen suited up in their Jos a Bank tuxes and got ready for their Sundance Studios Wedding.
Forever Twogether gave a lovely outdoor ceremony before guests enjoyed cocktail hour. As always, Compose Events did a fabulous job planning the event. In the reception space multiple vendors came together to make a shabby chic blush wonderland; with floral by Marco Alexandra, place settings by Debbie Does Dishes, donuts from The Donut Conspiracy, and catering from White Horse Farm Catering the room felt romantic and full of love. Angela and Matthew entered to share a beautiful choreographed dance, they enjoyed food and toasts from their loved ones, and then were off to break it down on the dance-floor thanks to the sounds of their DJ, Bee Entertainment.
We love the audio clips used in this film, as it just really showcases the love Angela and Matthew hold for one another. It was such a pleasure to capture their day. Congratulations on your lifetime of love.
