Like, seriously? How sweet is this adorable couple? Throw in a custom gown, the Detroit Athletic Club, and a team of amazing vendors and you have a Detroit Dream Wedding!
Ryan and his favorite guys hung out at their apartment while they played ping-pong, opened fun gifts, and suited up in their Men's Warehouse tuxes. Meanwhile, across town at the DAC Chelsea and her crew enjoyed getting pampered with hair by Mallory Wichman and Makeup by Barb Deyo... but our favorite thing? Chelsea's custom Jude Jowilson gown and veil! She told us that when she was at a trunk show she met Jude and he was willing to custom design a gown by combining things she liked about different gowns from his collection, and lets just say the final product was flawless (which you can see when Chelsea sees her dad for the first time, SO sweet!)
The two were married at Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament and had a gorgeous catholic ceremony. It really is such a lovely cathedral, we had a really good time pushing ourselves to find new and creative ways so capture the ceremony as it unfolded. After their "I Do's" and a kiss they were off with their bridal party for photos with Blaine Siesser Photography. We love that these two got around in a vintage Packard from Motor City Vintage Rentals too!
Then everyone was off to the Detroit Athletic Club for the reception. With coordination by The China Closet, jaw dropping floral by Bellisario, soft linens, an amazing band, and everyone they love it was one heck of a party! The two joined cocktail hour to cut their delicious cake (created by the DAC), heard toasts from loved ones, and had a delectable meal then danced the night away with everyone they hold dear.
It was such a picturesque day, and we're so thankful we got to be a part of it. Congratulations on a lifetime of love, Chelsea and Ryan!
