Here’s a little about how these two met (from the bride):
“We met each other at Michigan State University. Max played football there and my roommate Rachelle was dating one of his teammates at the time. She is now married to him, but Max was always over at our place to pregame for the bar with a few of the teammates… I was 2 grades older and had graduated a few years later and moved out to LA. I was the only person he knew out there and he reached out to me to hang out once he got out there to train in the NFL. Once he came out there to train, we were inseparable. That same year about 8 months later, I moved out to Texas to be with him where he got signed by the Houston Texans. Fast forwards two years of being together in Texas and in California in the off season to train, we were still head over heels. He asked me to marry him on Christmas eve of last year. “
Obviously, Bailee said yes! Then they invited us along to capture their big day.
Per usual, A Day in May Event Planning & Design knocked the whole day out of the park. The wedding was held at Max’s parent’s estate. While the girls got their hair and make-up done by Blushing Beauty by Nikki, Melissa Dickinson, and Memorable Occasions. Meanwhile, down the road, the guys hung out and suited up in their tan suits to prepare for their ceremony.
Before seeing her bridesmaids and her dad, Bailee slipped into her amazing low back couture Ghalia Lhav gown, and textured wedges. Once she and her dad were united, she was ready to walk down the aisle. The two had a beautiful ceremony on The Sundeck, surrounded by floral from BLOOM floating in the pool, a rose petal covered aisle, and surrounded by a sea of all of their friends and family under white parasols.
After saying I do, exchanging rings, and a kiss, the two headed to the tent for their beautiful reception. Again, A Day In May knocked the event design for the whole day out of the park, with tables covered in fresh white floral from BLOOM, vintage rentals from Fancy Fray, decor provided by Special Events Rental- everything was absolutely perfect. Max carried Bailee in on his shoulder, the two listened to toasts from loved ones, enjoyed delicious food by Epicure Catering, cut their cake and grazed on desserts by Bella e Dolce then ended the night tearing up the dance floor thanks to 2BaysDJs!
These two were adorable, and everything about their day was perfect. Thanks so much for including us!
