Cinematic or Highlight

We offer 2 different styles of coverage. While we are best known for our Cinematic Packages, we also offer a more budget-friendly option with our Highlight Bundles. Below are some of the differences between the two styles of packages

Cinematic Packages

Cinematic filming style using special equipment to add motion and movement to the coverage.
Focus on storytelling through interviews of the couple (participation optional).
Cinematic lighting at the reception included.
4K Coverage
3 to 4 videographers
Longer film lengths ranging from 8-18 minutes long.

Highlight Bundles

Documentary style of filming using tripods and mono-pods for stationary yet professional coverage.
Budget-friendly
HD Coverage
2 videographers
Shorter film lengths ranging from 3-8 minutes long.

The amount of video coverage you need depends on how much you want captured. For example, how important is the “prep” (getting dressed) part of the day, or are there important events taking place at the end of the reception like a sparkler send-off?

Here are a few things to consider when trying to answer this question…

Start time:

We advise starting 1 hour before your first key event. Typically this means starting 1 hour before the partners get dressed, but in a Bundle Package where “prep” may not be filmed, it’s suggested to start no less than 30 minutes before the first key event such as a first look, or the ceremony itself.

End time:

Ideally, we recommend ending no less than 30 minutes after open dancing begins, or just after the last key event has been filmed. (such as a staged sparkler exit, a scheduled dance, or a bouquet toss, etc.).
