We’ve had our share of time on the road this summer, traveling around Michigan for some incredible weddings. From local events in Grand Rapids to Suttons Bay to South Haven, we’ve had an amazing time with our special couples. Samantha and Frank’s wedding took us to the Holland/South Haven area, a very special place for both of them. Samantha grew up visiting there are all her life and started bringing Frank along five years ago. He fell in love with the town and lake life just as she had. Here is a little information they shared with us about the start of their love story:
“Frank and I first met in our senior year of college at Indiana University. We graduated and started a long-distance relationship with Frank in LA and Samantha in Milwaukee. Three years later we both moved to Chicago and finally lived in our lives in the same city. We still live in Chicago to this day with our little dog named Gus. Frank proposed in Holland Michigan in August of 2020, Holland holds a very special place in both of our hearts.”
Their ceremony and reception both took place at the elegant and quaint Black River Barn. They shared their vows outdoors underneath a spectacular arch of ivory, peach and pink flowers. All of the breathtaking floral décor for the day was designed by Rhiannon Bosse. Wedding coordinator Jamie Carnes made certain their day was perfect and photographer Kelly Sweet ensured not a memory was missed.
Samantha and Frank, we loved getting to know you both and it was our honor to capture your wedding day. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together! beautiful
