Having the opportunity to spend the day capturing each and every unique moment of a wedding is a blessing - we love what we do! This day spent with Hanna and Mason was simply wonderful. This sweet couple is just filled with joy, and that came shining through when their original wedding got canceled due to COVID-19. But, they prevailed and created a fairytale of a day that they and their guests will never forget.
Mason – the relaxed, go with the flow guy with a huge heart came home from his first date with Hanna and told his mother he found the girl he was going to marry. Hanna – the spunky, beautiful girl beams when she talks about her love for Mason. Grab your tissues friends because watching them read their wedding day letters from each other will tug at your heart strings. They have a love, commitment and friendship that runs deep and this day was centered around celebrating that!
Here's a little bit from their questionnaire on how they came to be:
"Mason and I met through mutual friends. We both were told by mutual friends that the other was single and that we should talk and get to know each other. When we texted we planned a day to hang out. We originally planned on getting ice cream, but we enjoyed each other's company so much we went on to do various other activities. The date lasted a total of 7 hours long. I originally did not know this, but Mason's mom recently told me that he came home from our first date and told her he found the girl he was going to marry! We have been together for 5 years! The first year of our relationship was when I was a senior in high school and he was a freshman in college. During this year we were close in distance to each other. When I graduated from high school I moved 3 hours away from him. We were long distance for 3 years. Since he is a year older he moved up to Michigan after he graduated from college and we spent my senior year close again! We got engaged on September 29, 2018 at Castle Farms in Charlevoix Michigan."
Their wedding was moved to Hanna's grandparent’s home in Indiana and ended up being a stunning setting for their ceremony and reception. Hanna’s grandpa actually picked out her dress! All of the couples’ siblings were in the wedding party and Hanna and her dad did a fantastic choreographed dance for their father-daughter dance. Family is so important to this couple and it showed in everything they had planned for their day.
It was a pleasure to work with Cami Geiger from Cambria Custom Events, LLC, who organized every detail from beginning to end. Kelly Braman Photography partnered with us as the couple’s photographer and captured the day beautifully. The wedding party, Hanna and Mason’s biggest cheerleaders, looked amazing. The Red Stiletto worked their magic once again with hair and makeup and One Fine Day Bridal and Gown Boutique provided the bridesmaid dresses. The groomsmen’s suits were from Christopher James Menswear. Most important of all, Hanna’s breathtaking gown was from Calvet Couture Bridal. The reception tent provided an intimate atmosphere with décor that was classy, romantic and fairytale-like with flowers from Modern Day Events & Floral and Ruby Moon Floral. The gorgeous five-tiered wedding cake was by Sassie Cakes and catering was by Catablu Grille.
Thank you Hanna & Mason for allowing us to take part in your special day. We hope this trailer brings back wonderful memories!
