Once in a while a couple comes along that shows you a glimpse of a love story that radiates pure love and joy. John and Rebecca Deyo are an amazing couple that will bring hope that true love does still exist! It was such a blessing to capture this emotional New Year’s Eve wedding at the Baker Lofts in Holland, MI.
In speaking with the couple before their wedding, Rebecca told us that John is a guy that loves with his whole heart. This could not be more evident in the way he described his love for his bride. We challenge you to not have your heart stirred and get misty-eyed as you listen to them describe their love for each other.
John and Rebecca’s wedding was an incredible day to shoot – with memorable moments from beginning to end. John and his groomsmen looked dapper in their tuxes from Woodland Tailoring and Rebecca was a sight to see in her gorgeous dress from Kathryn's Bridal. The two important men in her life, both her father and John lost their breath upon seeing her for the first time. From these moments to the surprise mother/daughter dance to honor Rebecca’s mother’s Brazilian roots…it was a day we won’t forget!
This couple had a real vision for a fun yet elegant wedding and they achieved hosting a wedding that was simply stunning. The décor in the Baker Lofts, with exposed brick walls, string lights and intimate atmosphere set the stage for a memorable ceremony and reception. We loved their black, white, silver and gold color scheme and Amazing Floral Moments captured all of the beautiful floral details. Their simple but elegant white and gold cake was created by Oven Mitt Bakery and the dinner was provided by Gilmore Catering. It was also a joy to work with the incredible photographers from Tauri Baum Photography.
When we watch this film from last year New Year’s Eve, our hearts are touched all over again by the beautiful love story captured. Thank you so much Rebecca and John for inviting us to play a part in your special day!
