As the world stepped into a new decade, Julie and Nathan stepped into their new lives together. And what better way to ring in the new year than to celebrate that with all your family and friends! We’ve always enjoyed filming at the Detroit Athletic Club and this day was no exception.
The day began with the whole bridal party hanging out and getting ready in separate suites at the DAC. After everyone's hair and makeup was finalized, it was time to get dressed and start the day’s events! Nathan and his guys suited up into their JosABanks tuxedos and headed out for photos. Meanwhile, Julie stepped into her absolutely stunning Katerina Bocci Designs wedding gown. Then after Nathan and Julie shared a moment together at their first look, it was finally time to move to the ceremony!
The two were married at St Aloysius Catholic Church and had a gorgeous catholic ceremony with accents of their Chaldean and Polish heritage. After exchanging their vows and a kiss to seal the deal, they were off to celebrate the night away!
The reception within the Detroit Athletic Club was a site to behold. With jaw dropping floral and decor by Emerald City Designs, live event painting by Trisha Strickland, a photo booth by Snap Station, music by Zaffet Joseph Entertainment, and everyone they love present, it was one heck of a party! The two led the reception with a traditional zeffa dance, heard toasts from loved ones, had a delectable meal, enjoyed a performance from their nieces, and danced the night away with everyone they hold dear.
It was such a timeless event at the Detroit Athletic Club, and we're so thankful we got to be a part of it. Congratulations on a lifetime of love, Julie and Nathan!
