When you hear "Our ceremony is taking place under a bridge in Petoskey", you may (understandably) have some questions. Well, today we're letting Caity and Justin's wedding trailer give you a new perspective on just how beautiful a bridge setting can be.

Here's their story on how they fell in love:

"Justin Rose and Caity Rutty met during their favorite time of year, and one of the biggest loves they have in common: the beautiful autumn time, football season. Caity's best friend Julia, and her maid of honor, introduced the couple after learning Justin had a new golden doodle puppy named Scout. Caity loved the breed of dog and wanted to buy her own golden doodle at the time, and Julia knew. "This friend I have has a golden doodle puppy, and runs half marathons, you two should really meet" was the line Julia said to Caity that changed both Caity and Justin's lives, as that was the line that interested Caity in going on a date with Justin. With Caity's occupation as a personal trainer and Detroit Lions Cheerleader, she is an enthusiast of all things fitness and sports related. Justin Rose as a sport reporter and anchor for the news and a half marathon runner for the charity St. Jude, one can only imagine the multitude of common interests and loves they share. After the very first date, the two met up again for a long run the following day, and the rest is history. After falling in love together over family vacations, sporting events, gym sessions, long walks with their now shared puppy Scout, holidays, travels, birthdays, movie nights, dinners, and many cherished times together, Justin proposed! Justin caught Caity completely off guard during a summer weekend getaway and got down on one knee in front of a gorgeous sunset on Lake Michigan in Petoskey and presented Caity's dream engagement ring, to which she said yes! The two had such a whimsical engagement weekend in the gorgeous Petoskey, Michigan that they decided instantly: this is where we WILL get married! Cheers to the upcoming wedding celebration at one of the most beautiful destinations. After all, all you need in life is love.... well, and a dog."

It was a "rosy" day in Petoskey, MI, and we aren't just saying that because Caity was taking the Rose last name.   From Justin's rose cuff-links, to the rose petal lined aisle, to the rose unity ceremony, the theme was as evident as it was beautiful.

And speaking of beautiful, Caity was the very definition of the word as she walked up to meet Justin for their first look. We love when couples take this part of the day to an outdoor location, and partnered with Justin's reaction to his stunning bride, this one was one for the books!

We transitioned over to the Mitchell Street Bridge, where we were met with an absolutely GORGEOUS ceremony setup. Tableau Events coordination, and A.R. Pontius Flower Shop really outdid themselves on this one. It wasn't that they made us forget that we were under a bridge, but they embraced the location and helped it along in becoming one of our favorite ceremony locations of 2019!

With the babbling of the river as a background, Sylvia Norris plucked her harp (and our heart ) strings in a passionate theme as Caity and Justin performed their loving rose unity. After they poured their hearts out to each other in the form of their custom marriage vows, it was time for a kiss and a party!

If we thought the ceremony setup was something special, oh man, the tent at Stafford's Perry Hotel was exquisite! The "dusty rose" tones of the whole affair were encapsulated perfectly in the delicious sweet's table from Simply Sweet by JessicaA+ Event Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all night, but we were able to sneak Catiy and Justin away for some jaw-dropping photo-session time with GAUPERphoto (for whom we are always so appreciative to have a great working friendship with 😍 ).

As we got to capture the setting sun over the Petoskey Pier, we thought back on how perfect a day it had all been. From joining the couple for laughs in the morning, to a rose themed ceremony under a bridge, and finishing at a 1800's hotel venue for a reception, we felt so blessed for having been invited to capture Caity and Justin's special day!

Congrats on Forever, you two!
