As a pilot Zach spends a lot of time in the air, but we know that Abby is what will always keep him grounded 😀

Classic cars and a beautiful lake house make for the perfect backdrop for a Muskegon wedding, wouldn't you agree? 😀 And now, some words from our couple on how they became engaged:

"Zach's whole family spends a week at Wilderness state park over the 4th of July, and this past year we decided to head up for the week early and go to Tahquamenon Falls. So on July 1, 2018, we went to the falls with our dog, Goose. We thought it would just be a short trip, but ended up doing the hike from the upper falls to the lower falls. We found a small island at the lower falls, and decided to take a picture with Zach's drone. That's when he proposed!"

When Zach and Abby met back in 2015, they knew they had something special. Fast forward 4 years, and we were overjoyed to join the two as they officially became each other's co-pilots!

We got to spend another BEAUTIFUL summer day in West Michigan filming a celebration of love, and catching the cool breeze off the lake at Abby's parents' place. The teams at Melissa Anne Floral Co, Events By I CandyThe Rental Company, and Redi Rental came together to create an impressive ceremony and reception locale on the estate.

Zach and his groomsmen rolled up to the alter (arranged in the front yard of the Muskegon lake house) in some of the Father-of-the-Bride's favorite classic cars from his collection (captured masterfully by Mitten Drone Media). There, the couple got to read their vows before each other and their closest loved ones. After planting a tree (we love this idea ), a kiss, and a paper-airplane exit, the party moved over to the tented reception in the backyard.

Memories and heartfelt words were heard from Zach's brother, and Abby's sister and father over dinner. An amazing display of donuts, cupcakes, and a chocolate-topped wedding cake by Ginger Bakes was enough to steal the couple's attention just long enough for a bite before heading out onto the dance floor! Snacks by Cone Appétit and Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken kept everyone going through the night, and were delicious treats to cap off an incredible day.

We wish Abby and Zach a life full of happines, safe travels, and Goose (their pup) snuggles!
