Alex + Alec met through working together at GE. Here's a little of their story from their questionnaire:
"For the first couple of years we were incredibly good friends- shared a lot of the same interests and views and could easily relate to one another. Fast forward two years, we continued to another program within GE called Corporate Audit Staff (CAS), a program where you move every 4 months around the world. It was then I found myself to back to good ol Milwaukee on my third review where Alec was also stationed. It was back around late February when Alec one day asked if I wanted to go out to dinner with him.. just the two of us. He took me to one of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee called Lake Park Bistro and we had so much fun. For me, up until then Milwaukee was a place that I really didn’t like (I wasn’t in a good state when I first moved there) and as cliché as this Rihanna song sounds, I really did end up finding Love in a Hopeless place (Milwaukee). As everyone always says the rest is history…We realized we were more than just friends and began our journey for another year and half until the day he proposed to me."
When the big day came, they invited us to come film their Wedding in Lansing, and we were over the moon to be included in their big day.
The day started with Alex and her favorite girls enjoying getting pampered with hair and make-up by M Beaute Bar before slipping into her amazing bridal gown from Elizabeth’s Bridal. Meanwhile, Alex suited up in his Baryames Tuxedo before everyone headed off to St. Martha's Parish. After their vows, I Do's and an exchange of rings, they sealed the deal with a kiss and were off to enjoy photos with Kelly Braman Photography.
At this time, guests headed to Country Club of Lansing. With tables covered in candles and lush floral, everyone was in love with the work done by Petal and Forrest. Alex + Alec entered their reception and cut a beautiful cake by Cake Art for Lansing. After which, they shared a dance and heard toasts from loved ones. They ate delicious food, toasted drinks, and danced the night away in a tent adorned with one BIG American Flag (USA! USA!).
This was such a beautiful day, we feel so honored we got to be a part of it. Congratulations on forever, you two!
