Karolina + Andy’s Wedding Highlight Film

    Karolina + Andy have been together since they were teens, and after TEN YEARS of dating, they finally decided to tie the knot. Here’s the story on how Andy proposed (from the couple’s questionnaire)
     
    “After college we stayed in Grand Rapids, and started building our careers. About a year and half ago we bought our first house together. Andy was thinking about a way to propose and after I told him we were going to host a housewarming party with all of our friends, he decided to propose at the party. I didn’t know that all my friends already knew it was going to happen! Andy asked me to take a picture on the couch with him, and in the background our friend held up a sign that said “Karolina, will you marry me.” The photographer then showed me the photo and I saw the sign. Andy got down on one knee and proposed.”
     
    So sweet! So of course when they asked us to come along and capture their fabulous wedding at Grand Rapids Public Museum, we couldn’t resist.

    Our day started with the couple as they were about to do their first look. Karolina looked amazing; with makeup by Erick, hair by Krystle Waivio, and her amazing layered gown from Bianka Bridal she was stunning. And you can see it all on Andy's face when he first sees her! After some photos with Kate Touzel Photography the two were off to the pocket park to get married under their Arbor from Events by ICandy (and covered in floral by Damsel Floral).

    The Grand Rapids Public Museum was the perfect backdrop for this wedding, and with a lot of great vendors coming together, it became a beautiful event. Kelly at All Buttoned Up Events did a phenomenal job planning the party... throw in Floral by the always fabulous Damsel Floral, linens from Special Occasions West, and chairs from WED Events, the details were almost as beautiful as these two's love. Karolina and Andy enjoyed delicious food by Martha's Vineyard Catering, a stunning Cake by Its Personal by Sweet Cakes Design, and even Love's Ice Cream! After toasts and dinner, the two spent the rest of the night dancing with their favorite people thanks to the sounds of Party in a Box.

    We are so thankful we got to be a part of this amazing day. Congratulations on forever, you two!
