Finishing college, searching for thriving careers, and miles upon miles of distance couldn't keep these two apart! Let's hear how Sarah and Jackson came to be (from their questionnaire):
"Sarah and Jackson met through mutual friends in 2014 during the spring of their senior year at Hope College. Their friends planned a game night with the intention of having Jackson officially meet Sarah. They all played Cards Against Humanity most of the night and Sarah continued to choose Jackson's cards whenever she was "the judge" (which everyone knows means true love, right?). Jackson took Sarah on their first date the following week. For a month after, he would do nice things for her, such as sneak into her house to leave flowers, notes, and other gifts to make her smile. They spent more and more time together and he continued to pursue her until she finally agreed to be his girlfriend right before graduation.
They spent the next year 624 miles apart. Sarah was dancing in Buffalo, NY and Jackson was working in Milwaukee, WI. They would see each other every 4 to 6 weeks at a time, spending most of their time on the phone or having Skype dates. It was hard spending the first year of their relationship apart, but it made the times spent together that much sweeter. Sarah then moved to Chicago, IL to start physical therapy school, making the distance between them much shorter. They spent most weekends together in Chicago or Milwaukee with their dog, Otis."
When they decided to tie the knot with nearly 400 of their closest friends and family, they invited us along to capture the day, and we couldn't be happier they did!
The two spend the morning getting ready on opposite sides of the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, where they read letters from one another, and enjoyed the company of their closest friends and family. The guys suited up while girls were pampered by the staff at Amway Salon & Spa before Sarah slipped into her gown from A'doraBelle Bridal. After a sweet first look with her dad, everyone was off to Saint Mark's Episcopal Church for the ceremony. We just adore Jackson's reaction to Sarah walking down the aisle (I swear this season our grooms have all the feels and we LOVE it, you can literally see the love of our couples, it's amazing).
After vows, "I Do's", and the sweetest kiss, the two exited to a crowd of their favorite people in a sea of bubbles and were off on photo-session with Haley Jean Photography while everyone else took a break before heading back to Amway Grand Plaza Hotel for a huge party! Modern Day Events & Floral did an amazing job with floral touches and decor as always, and the Amway staff did a phenomenal job with their sweet buttercream cake. Sarah is a dancer, and couldn't wait to bust a move, and apparently neither could her guests! Music Host Entertainment brought the party and kept it going all night long!
We had the best time on that rainy Saturday with you two, Sarah + Jackson. Congratulations on your lifetime of love together!
