From Huston to Michigan, distance couldn't keep these two apart. So, it's no surprise that severe weather didn't stop their outdoor wedding from being absolutely beautiful! (but seriously, wait until you see the time-lapse in the beginning of this trailer. Like, did John capture a funnel cloud?!)
Let's hear about how this all started, and how Brandon slid into Gabrielle's DMs and stole her heart:
"Where to begin... We met through mutual friends, in the summer of 2015. Brandon and his family took a little trip up to Michigan and we spent a lovely weekend in Saugatuck and South Haven. Since he was a little scared to ask for my number, later that week he slid into my DMs. Next thing you know, he asks for my number and we started talking. At first, many had doubts we would ever be a good couple because he did not seem to have an appreciation for the arts as I did. But, he proved everyone wrong. We hit it off and fell very much in love..."
Through ups and downs these two overcame all the obstacles in their way. After Brandon proposed in Chicago, the two started planning their day at Greencrest Manor, and when they invited us to be a part of it, we were over the moon!
Gabrielle described their wedding as a "1920s French countryside garden wedding. It will be sophisticated, yet laid back. " - and we think she hit the nail on the head with that! Greencrest Manor made the perfect backdrop. Tracy and her team at Park Place Design did a phenomenal job with adding delicate touches of colorful floral to their gold details. Throw in catering by Schulers and a delectable cake by Bert's Bakery, these two had everything they needed for the perfect wedding in any weather. Plus, they had one amazing dance party to end the celebration!
We are so happy we got to be a part of your special day, Gabrielle + Brandon!
Congratulations on your once in a lifetime love!
