We just adore this story about how these two met from their questionnaire:
“We met at a very silly dive bar in Brooklyn in the summer of 2010. We were immediately attracted to each others’ sparkling wit and fashion glasses. It turned out that our friends were dating, so we had lots of excuses to keep being around each other. And then we fell in love! We moved in together to a cute apartment with a backyard and learned how to be grownups.”
Bradley had a one of a kind ring designed by his father and proposed. Katie said, “Yes!” – When they started planning their laid back Lake Michigan wedding, they invited us to capture the whole thing!
The couple had a stunning wedding at The Homestead, one of our favorite places. The girls spent the morning getting their hair and makeup done at Lillyjade Salon, then headed back to her parents house to put on her stunning gown, Kate Spade peep toes, and her mom’s earrings and veil from her wedding. Across the way Bradley put on his navy suit, custom Cod cuff-links by his dad, watch, shoes, and was ready to get to the first look to see his beautiful bride.
After a very lighthearted first look, these two were united and ready for their big day. The couple had a lovely private Jewish ceremony, and then headed to the ceremony site where the beautiful Chuppah by Field of Flowers was too perfect to be true. The couple had the sweetest vows, and a truly sweet ceremony by Rabbi Chava Bahle, their love shined brighter than the sun overhead.
For their reception guests rode the chairlift back down to the Homestead for the reception. A lot of the details were done by Katie herself, they were complimented by more gorgeous floral by Field of Flowers, a stunning ruffle ombre cake by Top Tier Cakery, and so much more. Katie and Bradley entered the reception, heard lovely toasts, cut their cake, and danced the night away to MacDaddy band. Everything about their big day was so fun, and we’re so glad they chose us to capture it!
