Usually we tell you a little about the couple here, like how they met or got engaged… but I think Courtney’s reaction to Rebecca asking when she knew he was the one says more than we ever could about these two!
Courtney and her bridesmaids spent the whole day at Loft 310, preparing in their gorgeous bridal suite, curling their hair and helping one another with make-up in matching navy robes. Meanwhile, the guys got ready at the Kalazmazoo Radisson right down the road, having a few drinks and hanging out before suiting up for the ceremony. Daniel had a great monogrammed wooden tie clip, which we just adored.
Once the girls were ready Courtney slipped into her low back lace bridal gown, sparkly Kate Spade bow peep toe slingbacks, and headed to the Skydeck for their first look. Once the two had a moment to celebrate their wedding day and they took some photos, Courtney and Daniel had an beautiful ceremony by Reverend Brian. We loved the vine covered walls next to the black chiavari chairs, their beautiful vows, and that instead of a unity candle they put love notes to one another to read on their anniversary with a glass of whiskey. The way Courtney hops around before they kiss sealed the deal, and everyone was off to the Gatsby for cocktail hour.
Cocktail hour was full of floral grown in the bride’s mother’s garden, and guests enjoyed cocktails before entering the reception space. The team at The Loft created great family style seating for guests, with gorgeous floral from Fond of Floral, and tabled adorned with acrylic placeholders, watercolor table “numbers” named after some of their favorite cities, and the sweetheart table was even adorned with an emerald sequin linen and placed under a floral wreath, so sweet!
We are so happy you two chose us to capture your big day, and we wish you all the best in your new adventure as husband and wife!
