Here’s a little on how these two met (from the couple):
“We met through a Bible study for young adults which we both attend (Bible Study Fellowship International). We have been attending it for years and have many dear friends there and a deep connection to BSF. In December 2012, a group of BSF friends went to Greenfield Village for its “Holiday Nights” event. This when we chatted for the first time, so we fondly refer to it as our “friendaversary”. Throughout the next couple of summers, we got to know each other better through doing group activities with our BSF friends. Rob had the “activity equipment” … boats, skis, etc… and Bonnie was good at setting up the activities which would draw a lot of friends.
Bonnie was attracted to Rob’s perspective on life, people and godliness, kind and patient character, easy-going nature, humility and strength of personal conviction. Rob was attracted to Bonnie’s encouraging attitude, cheerfulness, the fun activities she put together, and perspective on godliness.”
When they were wed, they invited us to capture their big day, and we feel so honored they did!
The day began at the bride and groom’s parents house. Bonnie got ready with her closest friends, brothers, and parents, with hair and make-up and good food. Robert and his best friends suited up across town, and enjoyed some time together. We loved seeing his mom pin on his boutonniere, so sweet! Soon Bonnie was in her gorgeous lace ballgown and was united with her parents, then off to The Henry Ford to have a first look with Robert.
The two had a lovely ceremony, full of joyous singing, prayer, and commitment. Then, everyone headed upstairs to the gorgeous ballroom to hear loving toasts, eat delicious food, and treat themselves to cake and ice cream in celebration. Since Bonnie is a Master Gardener, we knew the floral was going to be gorgeous, and Mancuso’s did not disappoint! Everything about this day was perfect, and we’re so glad they invited us to capture. Congratulations on forever, you guys!
