Curt and Laura lived 1 1/2 miles apart for 6 years, but only met last year through match.com. Curt was a member in the past and resigned on when Laura’s picture was sent to his junk mail. Neither Curt nor Laura went on a date with anyone else from the site.
And when the two were married, they had an intimate backyard wedding, and invited us along to capture it.
We loved everything about this day. Laura and Curt were so welcoming and kind, you could tell that they loved one another so deeply because as soon as they were united you could tell they both felt at ease and ready for the rest of their lives. Laura made almost every detail of their day, from their cake, to their chalk board signs, their trail mix favors, and everything in between; it was all made with love. The two shared vows and exchanged rings on the lake front, cut their cake, went for a quick carriage ride, ate fajitas, and shared smores with their closest friends before they ended the night with sparklers and a kiss.
We feel so lucky we got to capture their big day, and we wish them all the best in their new journey as man and wife.
