How cute are these two? Here is how the bride told us about their history as a couple:
“We were living in Grand Rapids, Michigan when we met through mutual friends in 2007. We spent a lot of time together playing golf, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. That summer, I called up Casey and hesitantly told him that I liked him. Soon after, we went on our first date at Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids. We continued our relationship and once Casey graduated from College, we decided to move to Wisconsin (where Casey grew up) to pursue my education in nursing. I was very busy with schooling and Casey working as a high school Physical Education and Health teacher. One May 26, 2012, we went down to the lake front in Milwaukee to go bike riding. We first had lunch at the Harbor House and spent time sitting on the dock behind Discovery World watching people fly kites. Just when I thought we were walking back to our car to grab our bikes, Casey knelt down and proposed! I was actually in disbelief and asked him if he was just playing around like what Jim did to Pam on the show, the Office. Once I realized Casey was being serious, I said “Yes, of course!”

We had an amazing time with Rachel and Casey in Wisconsin for their gorgeous wedding day. The girls spent the morning getting pampered at Delafield Hotel before Rachel slipped into her stunning cap sleeve, lace gown from Bliss Bridal, adorned with buttons and a keyhole in the back, and her great silver strappy stilettos from Chinese Laundry with a metallic toe. Her bridesmaids wore flowing blush bridesmaid gowns from Zita Bridal… Meanwhile, Casey spent the morning at the couple’s new condo with his groomsmen, joking, laughing and putting on his handsome Jos A Bank suit and Tommy Hilfiger Swiss-dot tie and plaid socks.
The couple escaped the rain and made their way to St. John’s Military Academy Noble Victory Memorial Chapel, which was a stunning stone church with bright stained glass. Kevin & Corie Buettner serenaded guests throughout the event, and Casey lost his breath as his bride walked down the aisle. The two said their vows and kissed each other sweetly, and then they were off to party!
The couple headed back to Delafield Hotel for their reception, where guests saw an adorable scrabble guestbook, sweet blush floral from Belle Fiori, lace linens, a sweet coffee favor to offer guests a little energy boost, and of course their delicious cake from Sweet Perfections embellished with fresh floral. The couple drank campaign, snapped some quick photos in their photo-booth from Shutterbooth and then were out on the dance floor to bust some serious dance moves thanks to the crew at Sound By Design.
