From being in a faux bridal party to organizing their own, check out how this couple met (from their questionnaire):
“We met when Shelby was 15 (almost 16) and Tyler was 17. It was September 2006 just a day before school was starting for Tyler and a week before for Shelby. We were at a mock wedding photo shoot, we were both part of the “bridal party” so we basically just rode around Lansing in a stretch Hummer limo for hours taking pictures like we were in an actual wedding. I even bought him lunch when we stopped at McDonalds because he didn’t have his wallet with him. The unique part is that we were both just add ins at the last minute. I got a phone call while on vacation in Florida (a few days before the shoot) about filling a spot as a “bridesmaid” and Tyler was asked last minute as well to be a “groomsmen”.

On a rainy summer day, Shelby and Tyler made their love official. He wore a tux (from Baryamas Tuxedo), she wore a white dress (that she found at The Dowry Bridal Salon) and they said “I do!” And oh goodness, wait until you see Tyler’s face as Shelby walks down the aisle at St. Cecilia Music Center, it will make you weak in the knees!

The two celebrated their love with a party at The Eve (in The Bob), with a delicious dessert bar, eats from The Gilmore Collection Catering and Special Events, and hydrangeas on every table. They danced the night away, and had a party-stopping garter removal thanks to Tyler (who really knows how to strut his stuff)!
We hope this couple enjoys every day as much as they did their wedding day, because we know if they do, they’ll be so unbelievably happy!
