Check out how these adorable high-school sweethearts met!
From the Bride’s questionnaire:
“Doug and I are actually second generation high school sweethearts! My mom and dad met in high school (the exact same high school) just like us. Beginning in grade school, I showed horses all over the country. So not only was I physically not in school that much, but Doug and I also ran in pretty different cliques. Although we’d been in the same school system since 1st grade by our senior year we’d hardly talked. Then my horse, Joe, got hurt and I couldn’t ride. So I had to find something else to do with my time. I joined yearbook and Doug was the editor. We finally got to know each other and the rest is history!”
On a beautiful day in May, at the absolutely gorgeous Greencrest Manor, Brogan + Doug said I do on spending forever together.

The girls spent the morning getting pampered and giggling with one another before Brogan stepped into her flawless jeweled ball gown from La Jeune Mariee Bridal Boutique. Meanwhile the men spent the morning strapping on suspenders, and suiting up! Next, Brogan had the sweetest first look her father… as you can hear in the beautiful letter from her groom, although her mother is no longer with her, she had the sweetest moments with her dad and beautiful ways to honor her mother trough out the day… such as the fresh yellow tulips guests brought to the entrance of the ceremony site, she wore her mother’s favorite ring as her something blue, and her mother’s favorite flowers were pink peonies (she had a row of 3 bushes by the barn where the bride grew up that she loved watching bloom each spring) so those were also incorporated throughout the day.
After a beautiful ceremony in the gardens of Greencrest Manor, Brogan and Doug sealed forever with a kiss and were off to their flawless tented reception that was deigned by Hey Gorgeous, and rentals from Special Events Rental. The couple cut their delicious, buttercream, 4 tier cake, and then sat down to a delicious meal by Christine Ferris Catering. The couple capped off the night by dancing the night away to the stylings of DJ Bob Hipp!
Such a heartwarming love story, congratulations you two!
