I am continually impressed by the Theater department at Cornerstone University. I’ve seen many productions from most of the other Grand Rapids area colleges, and Cornerstone continues to stand apart as a leader in the theater arts. Their program is continually being recognized and awarded for multiple facets of their productions (acting, directing, choreography to name a few) and this fall’s production of “Something’s Afoot” is no exception. It seems they have put together their “All-Star” cast for this fun drama-musical style show, and believe me you won’t want to miss this one.
The play has all the elements of comedy, drama, surprise and a clever use of props and set to keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire show. It reminded me in some ways of the move/game “CLUE” but with a different twists and lots of entertaining musical numbers. If your schedule is free this weekend, be sure to check it out!
