There are many joys in life and each one is different. Christmas, seeing old friends, vacations… but today I experienced a new joy I’ve not had before… seeing my daughter enjoy her birthday. I know many people have experienced their kids birthday’s before, but this one was the first time Lexi was old enough to have an idea of what was going on, and thus my first time as a parent watching her enjoy a day… all in celebration of her. I can only imagine what next year will be like, or seeing her on Christmas… 🙂 I get warm fuzzies just thinking about it. Anyway… I thought you’d enjoy seeing some shots from Lexi’s Birthday today.

Amy’s Parents gave her some birthday money which we spent on her own tea set. She loved it! Our Friend’s the Hidalgo’s came over to share some of the fun (and some cake) with us.

Oh, these pics make me miss her so much! She is so grown up and so beautiful! I totally thought today was the 22nd. (It’s not I missed it!) We have something small but special coming to her. 🙂 So blessed to see the pictures and hear it was a great day! I love her too! 🙂
