Last Friday my friends Allison and Adam tied the knot! The weather was outstanding considering its early March in Michigan and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day. Ryan accompanied me as a second shooter and followed the boys around for the first half of the day, but I haven’t received his images yet… so Adam, you’ll have to wait to see your skeet shooting pics. : )
Allison was a fantastic bride. Always smiling, never stressed and knew how to soak in every moment with all her friends and family.
Allison’s adoring mom…
Earlier last week on the phone I asked if Allison could get dressed in a room OTHER than the nursery. Fortunately she found this room (with cool “movable” lights! Yea!)
A gorgeous portrait I snapped in the church while we were waiting for the bridesmaids to join us.
And here’s Adam! And yes, he cried when she walked down the aisle. Good man.
Had to post this one, as it required some stealthy footwork to quietly get into the baptismal in the front of the church and sneak in this shot.
I usually don’t blog pictures of signing the marriage license, but I enjoyed these to much to pass them up.
Thanks Ryan for calling my attention to this moment happening behind us while we were loading gear into my car. I did a 180 and pulled the trigger.
Then moments later told Adam to sneak in for a surprise kiss. : )
The wedding was at 7pm, so needless to say when we got around to taking pictures of both Adam and Allison together, it was pitch black outside. Time to whip out video lights and off camera flash!
Love these next 2 shots!
The first dance
This last picture was too hard to pass up. My good friends (and former wedding photography clients) Jon and Chaeli with their 2 week old baby boy…. dancing together near the end of the night.
Adam, I promise to get a few prep shots up as soon as I can… so stay tuned! 🙂 Congrats you guys!
