Maybe I’ve been missing something… but I haven’t really done a lot of senior portraits. But, when a business friend of mine asked if I’d shoot her daughter Jordyn, I said sure. It had been a while since I did a senior shoot, and more specifically an “all studio” senior shoot at that. Well this evening proved to be simply a joy doing just that. Jordyn (along with her sister and mother) stopped by the studio and we had some fun for a few hours.
Anyway I seriously enjoyed myself. If shooting seniors is this much fun then I’ve been missing out. Jordyn was so fun to photograph and so easy to work with.
Here are some of my favorites… enjoy! Oh… and I made them extra big for a change since most of the shots were vertical and would fit in the larger size. Yay for bigger pictures!
We started with “the Yearbook pose” but quickly moved on to other poses and locations.
Jordyn has so many “looks”… and this one is steller.
This next shot is actually a vertical, but I liked the horizontal crop to bring more attention to her eyes.
Who says shooting against a flat wall can’t work. Go Jordyn!
Here’s were we started to have some fun. I couldn’t decide if I like this shot better in color or Black and White…
The Black and White has a little more “effects” on it. A home made “Photoshop Recipe” actually. : )
“Sisters” – Alexa (SWEET NAME!) and Jordyn.
And some casual candids to close the day…
A little posed on this one… but still cute.
Thanks for a fun evening Jordyn and family! Looking forward to shoot # 2!
