Last Sunday my small group from church went to a lake house to relax together with our kids… and I just had to post some pictures I took of my sweet little girl. She’s going to be 1 year old in 10 days! AAAHHH! Her top front teeth just started poking through, and she’s talking up a storm mostly saying “dis” (as in, “this”). She is continually learning new words (not to say so much as know what they are) like tree, picture, light, dog etc… We can ask her what these things are now and she will point to them and sometimes say a rough version of the word (mostly dog, and light). Anyway, here’s some fun shots I thought I’d share. : )
My beautiful wife Amy with Lexi on the right and our friend’s 8 month old Anna on the left.
Lexi shares her ride with “Ret”.
Here is a classic pose… she’s saying “dat?” and pointing to things like the boat and tree’s etc… asking what they are.
Daddy loves Lexi!
Loving life! Notice the teeth coming in on top.
The deep in thought look…
On the move…
The deep belly laugh…
I’m pretty good at getting her to laugh… Yes daddy is a goof-ball.
And Lexi’s latest project… learning to walk.
Be sure to check back on Lexi’s 1 year birthday (August 22nd) as I’ll have a month by month picture progression of her first 12 months… as well as a fun video of some of her little quirks and developments we’ve video taped over the year.
