This post is a bit later than I had hoped due to being without power for 3 days from the recent storm that came through last week… but I finally have some shots to show from Sarah and Mike’s wedding.
What a great couple they are… I first had the pleasure of getting to know them better when I photographed their engagement session in 2007. Here are some favorite shots from the day.
Sarah had 3 (yes 3) garters.
The guys were dressed when we arrived, so they went to a local bar to hang. Here’s a great shot Ryan took of them just hanging out while I took to the girls to the beach from some shots.
Let the fun begin! Here’s some favorites I took with the girls on Oval Beach, Mi.
And the money shot…
Just before we left the beach, I set up this shot…
Ok I won’t put a lot of ceremony pictures, even though it was a beautiful little spot, but I had to include this fun shot of the flower girl getting some help from the ring bearer.
After the ceremony we really started having some fun.
Time for some “formal” shots… this was about as “formal” as this fun loving group ever got. : )
A solo portrait of Mike.
After the beach photoshoot, we headed back to the reception site, but the weather started looking interesting. Here are a few shots over time as a storm made its approach.
The storm did come and go, and I snapped this fun shot of the flower girl helping the event planner mop up the dance floor.
She then had some fun with the water dripping off the tent.
Some parent dancing shots…
Couldn’t resist throwing in this shot too…
And to close the day… a fun HDR shot of the the flower girl and sunset.
Congrats Sarah and Mike! Thanks for letting me share your special day with you!
