I had the great honor of being invited to shoot a trash the dress shoot with Jen Kroll Photography at Silver Lake’s Sand Dunes and Lake Michigan yesterday, and it was simply amazing! It actually was a double shoot with 2 couples taking turns in the spotlight. One of the couples was a 2007 wedding client of Jen’s (Aletha and Greg) and the other couple was a 2007 wedding client of both of ours (Kerri & Brett). Both couples were fantastic to work with and had no fear at all with getting their clothes all wet. Here are some of the highlights…

I absolutely love the shot below. Aletha had just laid completely in the water for the first time and I told Greg to slowly approach in the background.

Aletha and Greg waisted no time getting covered in sand, and I saw their rings peaking through their sand covered arms and hands and snapped this shot. It was definitely one of my favorite shots of the day.
The shot below of Kerri makes me think of a James Bond movie. 1960’s sexy. : )
Kerri was a pro at posing. The next 3 shots were definitely favorites of mine.
I love the way Kerri’s dress looks in this shot below.
And of course the “Calvin Klein Ad” shot which is what “Trash the Dress” shoots are all about. HOT! HOT!
Without a doubt it was one of the best photo shoots I’ve ever done, and it was super fun for everyone involved.
